"Shooting Attachment"...?

So, after that bullshit last night, or what I like to call "change in medication syndrome" this morning was a time for sorting shit that's broke. Namely my punkass router, as it likes to boot everything physically connected to it off the DHCP allow list when they come to renew leases. Basically, anything that's not connected to the router's shitty wireless gets a garbled IP and has no internet access, it sucks.

Be, being the helpful company they are simply scream "update firmware" whenever you ask them for help, so I bit the bullet, fuck it, update the firmware, watch it fuck up and then wait for Be to scramble about and fix the damn thing. So I update the firmware and it doesn't restore settings, great. I call Be and ask them for my static IP address details as the router has kindly lost them. Proceed with 45 minutes of the call centre guy telling me the wrong gateway address. sigh.

Short story: the router now works and the internet is much faster and [insert superstitious ritual] it hasn't gone down yet!

As you'll all know, from my whinging on twitter, I'm waiting for 6 parcels, 3 from Manaleak, two t-shirts from the ever so awesome Diesel Sweeties, a t-shirt, and the Playstation Move gun thing from Play. I've been in contact with Manaleak over email about where one of my orders is and it turns out that they're a bit swamped at the moment (not surprising) so hopefully I should get my cards by the end of the week! One shock I had, is that one card I wanted has gone from £4.95 to £24.95, which is insane. Still, hopefully my orders will arrive tomorrow as they aren't here today...

Move + Shooting Attachment!
I did receive my "Playstation Move Shooting Attachment" from Play, and it's awesome. Stupid name, but it's awesome! To prove my point, here's a photo, to the right there. It took me a while to work out just how to get the Move controller in the damn thing, but it turns out that the buttons on either side labelled "Release" pop the translucent blood red plastic top bit off and you put the controller in there! There's a neat little slot for the wrist strap out the back and it also has a cap so you can charge the Move without removing it from the "Shooting Attachment". For fuck's sake Sony, just call it a "Gun Thingy" already. It's just a shame there's no shooting games to use it with at the moment!

I ache like hell today, looks like the effects of Balance for Life are settling in. I can feel it mostly in my legs this time, where as before it was my back. I get to do it all again tomorrow, then it's ATOS medical assessment on Friday. I'm not looking forward to it, I'm scared that whoever I see is just going to tell me that I should be a hairnet model or something, but we shall see. I just don't want to have to explain everything all over again as it's really draining...

Well, I'm looking forward to Friday as I can order my iPhone, I can't wait! It might take 'a while' for it to arrive, but I don't care, I want my iPhone. I also hope I get my cards soon, because I want to scare Harry on Saturday with a monster combo! We shall see!
