Does That Make Me Crazy?

Possibly.

So, as promised, the results of talking to a psychiatrist. She was very nice and asked me loads of really complicated questions, which resulted in some sort of "this is what you could've won" line: and your diagnosis is... complicated.

Had I heard of Bipolar Disorder? Of course. Explanation of the three levels of Bipolar Disorder, check. Drumroll... Cyclothymia! (ruled out due to situational depression and moodswings, so straight to: ) Bipolar II! Fair enough, it didn't hit me anywhere near as hard as I thought it would. It was just a confirmation of something that most (if not all) people who know me already knew, anyway - that sometimes I could get a little bit manic. My 'official' diagnosis is "mD Bipolar Type II" which is minor mania, major depression. Does that mean I now get "mD" after my name? No? Shame.

Pills Added to the Mix: Lamotrigine. Which although is a Bipolar I drug, it might well help me. It could potentially kill me, but what drug can't? The thought of getting a midline rather than a mix of ups and downs seems well worth the risk, anyway.

Skills Gained: knowledge. I feel better knowing that although I am crazy, I'm not crazy in the sense that nothing was wrong with me, which is what I was worried about (but aren't we all?), but then is it better to be proved that I was right to worry? That's much too complicated for a friday afternoon!

Experience Points Needed to Level: 1090, at a guess.

Ok, so this post is a bit weird, but I thought I'd try something a little different. AppleTV is still in the ass-end of nowhere Arnhem, Netherlands which is a good fuckknowshowfar miles away, so it's not coming today, or tomorrow for that matter. Shame, Monday it is. Then the ATOS assessment/medical/abuse/etc, the thing I am totally dreading, on Friday. Brr. Good news is, I have a digital copy (a "Disneyfile" which sounds completely wrong!), a DVD and a Bluray to watch, but they're all of the same film! Hah.
