I haven't written one of these in what feels like ages (not a real one anyway). This morning (it's 1am now) I will be seeing an Occupational Health doctor for the first time instead of a nurse; so hopefully, I should get somewhere toward a decision as to if I can do my job or not. Seeing as I've been off sick nearly half a year now, my GP, my boss and I all feel that I can't. Hopefully, this doc will agree. I'm also hoping that this medical won't be a repeat of the ATOS "IT Services" ones, either.
Also this week, Friday, I will be heading back to Stanmore for a 2 hour induction! This 'induction' should be my start into being admitted there for three weeks and I'm dreading it. What am I going to do for 3 weeks without my MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPad and most importantly, the Internet?! Good god. Maybe I can smuggle the iPad in as an "ereader" no-one at a hospital will know what an iPad is, right? Maybe I'll be able to smuggle in my messenger bag with all my stuff in... Maybe...
Anyway, not much else to say on this front, except that my knees are getting worse and I can barely stand most of the time; but who knows what'll happen at Stanmore, they might give me new legs or something! (one can dream right?) Bedtime for me, as I need to be up in about 6 hours to see Dr Rost, I hope she's understanding!
Quick Edit: If I have internet access at Stanmore, then yes, I will blog my adventures! If I don't get precious tubes then I'll save it all up (I'll type on my iPhone/iPad if I have them) and blog at the weekends (as I'll be allowed home!) Still hating the idea of travelling all the way to Stanmore though!
