Apple TV is Here! Kinda... Almost...

My Apple TV arrived and it's... Not working! Well, I managed to watch my iTunes purchased copy of 2012 on it earlier, but now something seems to have gone seriously wrong! "An error has occurred accessing this content, try again later" er, I selected "General Settings" how can it be unavailable?!

It's restoring now, it seems a few people had some 'issues' with it out of the box. Mine was a little confused as it's a UK one but it had Netflix access, somehow... But yeah. Off it restores...

The device itself is incredible, the hardware is like nothing I've ever seen, it would be invisible if it wasn't for the Apple signature brilliant white LED on the front! It's so small but it's quite weighty at the same time, so it'll stay put when it's got cables and whatever else coming out of it! It would be nice, if it worked, however...

On to this last week. I had a sinus infection, it's going now, thankfully, so I can breathe through my nose again (yay!) Played a lot of Magic on Saturday with Harry, he was kind enough to bring lunch as I was feeling much too ill to go out. I also got a new card for my Elf deck, Nissa Ravane, again, many thanks to Harry! I mentioned it to him as a fleeting thing "oh, that would be so awesome in an Elf deck, I want one" and he gets one in a booster and gives it to me. This Elf deck will be something special, I'll make sure of it! Harry is awesome, I have no idea what I'd do without him, I love all my friends, but Harry is a special case.

Today, I had a tuna mayonnaise wrap for lunch, nothing exciting (but I had yellowfin with Heinz mayo for a major change) and I managed to dislocate and sprain my wrist mashing the tuna and the mayo together, so I had to get mum to mash it all up for me. Horrible. My hand is killing and painkillers aren't doing much for it, it's nearly time to take some more, so I'll get on that. Blogging/Typing in general is weird using one hand, but under the law of Nadine Dorries (a rather rude and 'anti-disabled' MP), that means I can still be a watch salesman, or something like that!

As promised, and now my sinus infection is leaving, tomorrow I will start Balance for Life properly by doing my first unsupervised session in the Gym! Hopefully I won't kill myself. I also had my hair cut this evening (to a "number 7" whatever that means) as medium-long hair bugs the shit out of me plus it's impossible to look after, being all wavy and bleh.

Oh, the Apple TV has finished downloading, installing and updating (although it was supposed to be Restoring) and it seems to be working fine now! Maybe I shouldn't let it sleep? It only uses 5.35 watts at most, so it's not like it's hurting anything! I'll have a see what others on Mac Rumors say about it, if it was something I did, or if I was just simply holding it wrong...

This week, I should hopefully get some t-shirts, one which should be the slogan for everyone who's disabled (I'll put a photo up when I get it) as well as some more Magic cards, a gun attachment for my Playstation Move aaand my new phone (although, I'll be ordering it this week and it might arrive next week!)

Self-indulgence, done!
