Lots of love going on for my Sony Reader right now, I'm making my way through The Night Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko. I want to read the entire series, but it's just having the time! So far the book is fantastic, a lot more 'fantasy' than the movies are, which I honestly prefer. After reading the entire Twilight saga and never wanting to read again, my faith in 'vampire' novels is almost restored (I say almost as it could still get ruined before the end...)
It's shocking that badly written books are becoming more and more popular - it makes me wonder if it was just the teenage sexual tension that sold Twilight to the masses or what? There's certainly next to no character development or feeling of attachment to the characters for a start...
But I can hate on the Twilight saga forever and I had better stop soon as my iTunes movie purchase (yes, Avatar) should've downloaded by now. Which, as I've just seen, it has! Pretty awesome really, nearly 3gb in under an hour...
